| About Unitas - IT solutions for Poultry Processors since 1995 |
Unitas has been creating innovative IT solutions for Poultry Processors since 1995. In that time we have developed a full range of software systems to cover all aspects of the business.
- Founded in 1995, Unitas quickly established an excellent reputation for providing quality ERP and Financial solutions, in particular to food processing and distribution companies, and is now recognised within Northern Ireland as a key software provider in the Agri/Food market.
- In 2000 the decision was taken to expand the Company’s product portfolio by developing web based software for the management of electronic purchasing and sales operations. Unitas embarked upon a major new development programme that was to last the next three years. As a result, Unitas is currently the leading supplier of e-Purchasing systems to the Public Sector in Northern Ireland with systems deployed in schools from all five Education Board areas and throughout the NI NHS.
- In 2004 based on the same web software platform an new extended application was developed which improves co-ordination and interaction between distributed farms and the agriculture and factory planning departments of a Food Processor.
- As Unitas Poultry Manager this application has now been used by over 400 farmers and is widely deployed in both the UK and Ireland it is now being rolled-out globally.
- In 2008 a new release of the Farms Management Accounting system was made available that offers Poultry Processors enhanced farms management and transaction control; full broiler, breeder and layer crop accounts and integrated web analysis – now connecting it to Unitas Poultry Manager.
- Unitas continues to enhance its product portfolio in all of the these areas working in partnership with our customers to ensure we always provide market leading solutions.
Our ability to utilise our software development platforms, and the comprehensive Modules and Components developed within them, accompanied with our ability to tailor and develop client specific components means we provide a unique, rapid, method of providing client-specific solutions cost effectively.
